Whales
From November to April is possible to see whales off the shores of Todos Santos. As it is a “Whales Sanctuary” they don’t organize tours here (even if fishermen let you join the day on the boat with them so you can have the opportunity of seen them closer but not too close).
If you want to have a closer experience you’ll have to go a bit norther (4 hours driving) to Puerto San Carlos where you’ll have the opportunity to literally spend all they with them.
It’s an amazing experience.
Birds
Todos Santos is a small village with a lot of wild nature all around there are many different species of birds and many different beautiful points for watching them, we’ll be happy to suggest you some nice trails.
Whale Shark and Sea Lions
From November to April you can swim with the whale shark in the bay of La Paz and go to visit the beautiful beaches of the Espiritu Santu Island and its sea lions colony.
La paz is about one hour driving from the hostel.
Tortoise
From December to April is possible to participate at the hatchling release of different species of tortoises at the beach and it’s free.
